Endurance Equipment, LLC manufactures Rubber Tire Supported Drum Debarkers in diameters of 9′, 11′ and 13′ and lengths from 15′ thru 120′. Models are offered in Stationary, Transportable and Mobile configurations.
The Endurance product line incorporates many features and innovations unique in the industry. These features contribute to an overall system design unsurpassed in productivity, debarking efficiency and fiber recovery.
Bark slots are sized for specific application but range in width from 1.5″ to 2.5″. Due to the use of ‘Super Single’ Tires for support, our shells provide up to 8% of open area for bark removal. Most rubber tire supported drums only offer 2% to 3%. Tire guards, rain guards, dust covers and roof covers are standard. Walkway access is provided to all necessary maintenance areas. Shells are rolled from 1 ¼” or 1 ½” plate and submerged arc welded for durability. The shell cans are aligned in jigs to insure straightness and roundness.
Endurance’s ‘Less Lifter’ shell technology offers superior debarking while reducing fiber damage. Our new “Cold Weather Technology” shells provide the end user with the flexibility to operate the drum with more or less aggressive debarking action simply by changing the rotational direction.
Drums are driven with direct coupled electric drives and can be wear rotated in either direction. The drum shells are fully symmetrical and can be rotated for longer life.
Production rates are dependent on the type of infeed system, drum size/length and species of material to be processed. System requirements of 25 to 350 tons per hour can be achieved with proper drum and infeed selection.
